I know you've had a rough year and losing your coach, John Fox, after this game must be a sore point. Well, maybe not, I don't know. My point is that it's been a sad showing this season, but I know you are a team filled with good people and full of players with the ability to pick themselves up and stomp those Dirty Birds into their own turf!
So, I need a favor from the Panthers. As a Saints fan, I hate the Atlanta Falcons. I detest them. Sorry, Girly-Bird, my BFF, I love you, but your team sticks in my craw like a festering splinter, especially right now.
I just need the Saints to beat the Tampa Bay Bucs in our own Dome and I would love to see Atlanta go down at home two weeks in a row. The Saints fell apart last year at the end of the season due to injuries, losing three games before going on to win the Super Bowl. Let's watch the Falcons do the same. I mean go down at the end of the season, not go to the Super Bowl.
I just want a chance. I want those stupid, Saints-hating announcers to eat their words. Even if we don't make it to The Big Game again, I'd love more than anything to tie them up as the playoffs begin.
We had a shaky start this year, we're trying to hold it together, but I need some help. I need Carolina to end with a B-A-N-G. I know you have it in you.
After the Meineke Bowl game, I left many inspiring notes around for you to find, but I'm pretty sure the clean-up crew found them as nobody has called me back yet.
That's fine. I'm telling you now: You can do it, I have faith in you. I believe you can topple those Falcons where few had been able to this year.
I stood beneath those giant panther statues outside of the Bank of America Stadium yesterday and felt all the power they emitted. Go pet them, take the fierce spirit of a fighting panther within and beat Atlanta.
Win one for the Gipper?
Sincerely,
A future (secret) fan if you win. After all, I do look good in blue and I like cats.
